When you visit Disneyland, you can’t help but be drawn to all the treats and desserts around the park. There’re so many to choose from and that is why we have compiled a list of our favorite Disneyland desserts.
TIGGER TAIL
If you love marshmallows then you have to head over to Pooh Corner in Critter Country and get a Tigger Tail. This has fresh-made marshmallows, chocolate, powdered sugar, and caramel! A similar treat can be found on Main Street, but the Tigger Tails are special because the marshmallows are made at Pooh Corner.
HOUSE-MADE FUNNEL CAKE
Next to the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland at the Stage Door Café, you can get a House-made Funnel Cake. This is the only location where you can find funnel cakes in the park. You can order your funnel cake with powdered sugar or with strawberries.
CANDY APPLE
One of the classic desserts you can find at Disneyland is the Candy Apple. These scrumptious treats are sold at Main Street at Candy Place And Candy Kitchen or at Pooh Corner in Critter Country. What makes Disneyland’s candy apples so amazing is they take inspiration from different Disney characters or holidays. These apples are so good and they’re big enough to share with your entire group.
CHURROS
A trip to Disneyland is not complete until you have a churro. Disneyland’s churros are sold at carts in almost every land throughout the park. However, if you want a special churro, you can head over to Tomorrowland where they color your churros to look like a lightsaber from Star Wars. Disneyland also has specialty churros available during the holidays such as the Halloween Time Sour Apple Churro.
MICKEY BEIGNETS
Don’t forget to stop by at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square to get some Mickey Beignets. These Beignets are hot out of the oven and are covered with powdered sugar. Not only are they delicious, but they are shaped like Mickey Mouse which adds that little bit of Disney Magic.
MATTERHORN MACAROON
Inspired by Disneyland’s Matterhorn Bobsleds, the Matterhorn Macaroon is a delicious treat that you can get at the Jolly Holiday Cafe near the Hub. Topped with white chocolate and sprinkles, the Matterhorn Macaroon is something you do not want to miss.
DISNEY DONUTS
One of the most well-kept secrets of Disneyland are Disneyland Donuts. These donuts are only available at a cart next to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and they have a verity to choose from. They bring out the donuts at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM and only a limited number are sold each day, so make sure you get one before they’re gone.
GREY STUFF GÂTEAU
Unlike the song “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, we hope you don’t have to ask the dishes to believe us when we tell you the Grey Stuff is delicious. At the Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland, you can try the Grey Stuff for yourself when you order the Grey Stuff Gâteau. This is a white chocolate mousse and red velvet cake with a raspberry center.
DOLE WHIP®
One of the most famous desserts in all of Disneyland is the DOLE WHIP®. This a pineapple soft-serve and it is the perfect treat to get on a hot day. DOLE WHIP® is sold at the Tiki Juice Bar next to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland. The Tiki Juice Bar also sells a DOLE WHIP® Float which is DOLE® Pineapple Juice topped with pineapple DOLE WHIP® soft-serve.
Disneyland is filled with all sort of goodies and treats that will make any sugar-lover happy. Comment below about what you think of these desserts and if we missed one of your favorites.
